Product Description
Rice is a staple food crop cultivated worldwide, including in Africa. It is the seed of the grass species Oryza sativa or Oryza Glaberrima. Rice comes in various forms, including brown rice, which retains the outer bran layer and germ, providing more fiber and nutrients compared to white rice. Broken rice refers to rice grains that have been broken during the milling process, often used in rice flour production or as a cheaper alternative to whole grains. White rice is polished to remove the bran and germ layers, resulting in a milder flavor and softer texture compared to brown rice.
